Our registration deadline has passed so we are now registering teams with our boys and girls league. We will still take players on teams, however, moving forward we can not add an additional team at a grade level. This means at some levels we will need to stop taking more players. Also, we work with our neighboring programs and if anyone has a small roster, we offer roster sports to those players and/or create one team from two different programs. Here are the teams and areas where there is waitlist or close to one..

We have an exciting announcement ready for the 2026 Spring Season. There will be an opportunity for an additional team that will play under the lights Friday nights at DYIMS. It will be a collaborative effort between DY and Lower Cape Lacrosse.
On our website, go to Preseason Team Info, Girls, U12 and learn more about this opportunity!
Often there are not many clinics for upper middle/high school students. This year there are two offerings from Cape Cod Lacrosse before we move into the spring season.
Our winter clinics are built to elevate your game with a strong focus on core skill development, position-specific work, and the fundamentals you need to hit the ground running this spring. See each flyer for more details and a link.
DY is interested in this boiys tournament. We will be in touch with players as they register to see if we can officially register a team.
Get ready for fast-paced, Olympic-style lacrosse at the inaugural Sixes by the Sea — where speed, skill, and intensity meet the coast. Hosted at Mass Maritime Academy, this event brings together teams from across New England for a one-day Sixes showdown on the water.
Divisions: limited to 12 teams in each division
Date: Sunday, March 22nd
Location: Massachusetts Maritime Academy
Cost: $95 per player
Format: Olympic Sixes style gameplay — smaller field, faster pace, nonstop action. Each team receives 3, 25 minute games. Possible 4th for a championship.
Requirements: All players must be USA Lacrosse age-verified.
Effective July 1, 2025, USA Lacrosse requires all players to age verify to keep their membership active. This is a free service for USA Lacrosse members and once the process is completed, the action will be permanently recorded in their member profile and will not require further updates.
Dolphins Lacrosse fields separate boys and girls teams. The 2026 spring season will be our 5th season. In 2025 we had 180 players and 10 teams playing on the new turf fields at DYIMS. Go Dolphins!

On the third Tuesday of the month from September to June, we hold a monthly meeting. It is brief and over Zoom. We will email families a Zoom link to join us. It is not a mandatory meeting. Think of it like a PTO meeting but if you show up, you will not leave with a position. We have a board and we are looking for some help in setting up a fun in season event, getting two of our teams to Nantucket for games, thinking of an end of the ear activity, maintaining a successful program and whatever else you have in mind. Hope you will make some time to spend with us!
